Bette's career had many contributors.  Sadly, a lot of the people who helped played a role in her stardom are no longer with us.  These people deserve recognition for their work, and should not go forgotten.  With this section we pay our respects and thanks to the people who helped create, The Divine Miss M.

Aaron Russo
February 14, 1943 - August 24, 2007

From the humble beginnings at The Palace Theatre, to record breaking ticket sales during Clams on the Half Shell Revue, from the Emmy award winning special, Ol' Red Hair Is Back, all the way to the Oscar nominated film, The Rose . . . Aaron Russo was there, and helped to create the living legend that Bette Midler wanted to be, and ultimately became.

I myself had the pleasure of talking with Mr. Russo a few times before his passing, and all I can say is he was a truly wonderful and humble man. Never afraid to admit his faults, or express regrets from days gone past. He was an inspiring person to know, and his appreciation and gratitude towards this page has been one of the best compliments ever received. Aaron was one of a kind, will be greatly missed, and his work shall never be forgotten.
