( 1968 - 1983 )

Bette not only dazzled audiences on stage during her live shows, she also dazzled television viewers with her many memorable appearances on shows over the years, from her early appearances on The Tonight Show - which helped launch Bette's career - to her very own television and concert specials.  Below you will find a list of programs that Bette participated in during the seventies and early eighties.  And you can click on many of the titles below to see more details on these appearances, including lyrics to songs Bette sang, pictures from the show, and written transcripts to interviews and speeches that Bette gave.  Please note that any song titles that are listed below in italic are currently unconfirmed - these are just rumored or hypothetical guesses.

I'd like to add a very special thanks to Tom Reed, Patty Zello, Mike McGary and Larry Craig for all the help and contributions made to this section.  It wouldn't be the same without you.  And to my ingenious friend - who prefers to remain private - a mere thank you just doesn't seem enough.  You're one in a million, and I appreciate everything you've done.  Thank you so much.
